I have found also the satellite image of Nevada which is stunning with high colors. The exact link of the Nevada picture is here: http://geology.com/satellite/nevada-satellite-image.shtml. For someone living in the desert, it is always a new experience to see some green!
On the USGS website, we can find printable PDF satellite maps and a full collection of high resolution maps. Just look at the size of the files on the right column !
Those satellite maps give me the willing to go out, take pictures, and see the colors for real because I am not sure about the green of the mountains... Well, maybe a new pictures gallery to come.
